I began calling myself Poetically Incorrect a few years ago when I started writing poetry. I called myself that because I wasn't really using any kind of training to write the poetry, just what felt right. Sometimes it rhymed, sometimes it didn't. Sometimes the flow is great; sometimes it is a bit awkward.

The power of expressing emotions, and the lessons in brevity are still strong though - key skills in writing! So, if you are a beginner poet or an expert, you are welcome here. Any kind of poem, even poorly written ones are welcome! We will support the emotion and effort behind the attempt, and offer feedback if you want it!

We will discuss the issues you address and have a good time together as friends. Just let us know if you are sharing for fun or if you want constructive feedback!
